Join IHHC for a Brown Bag Lunch & Learn event to hear the most up-to-date information about recent changes to federal law which permit hospice employees to handle and dispose of controlled substances in the homes of hospice patients. Liz Vogt, IHHC Director of Government & Regulatory Affairs, and Katie Wehri, Director of Home Care & Hospice Regulatory Affairs for the National Association for Home Care & Hospice will give a detailed overview of these provisions which were signed into law by the President in October 2018 as part of the comprehensive opioids legislative package. The overview will be followed by ample opportunity for Q&A and open discussion.
IHHC’s monthly Brown Bag Lunch & Learn series is designed to provide IHHC members the most up-to-date information on the most pressing issues of the day-- all over the course of a lunch break. Attendees are strongly encouraged to join in the discussion, ask questions, collaborate and share ideas and best practices with colleagues. This is a FREE IHHC member benefit.
