Eligibility for Continuing Education Units / Nursing Contact Hours
To be eligible for CPEs/contact hours, you must:
• Attend the session for its full duration
• Insure you have been signed in either electronically or on paper
Continuing Education for Nurses
This continuing nursing education activity was forwarded for approval to the Maryland Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation. All education sessions are presented in group-live format. Once approved, nurse attendees may earn up to 6.5 contact hours.
NAHC is also approved by the California Board of Nursing, Provider number 10810. Many states have reciprocity and will accept the contact hours for education programs.
Continuing Education for Accountants
The National Association for Home Care & Hospice is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE sponsors (Sponsor ID #104616). In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, CPE credits are based on a 50-minute hour. CPAs may earn up to 7.8 CPE credits for this group live program. State boards of accountancy have final authority on acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.NASBARegistry.org.
