IHCC Member Benefits The Illinois HomeCare Council (IHCC) is a statewide, nonprofit, trade association that promotes the delivery of quality health care and supportive services in a variety of home living environments in the state of Illinois. IHCC believes home care should be an integral part of the health care system and be available to those who need it. IHCC offers members year round education, including day seminars in northern and southern locations, audio conferences and the Annual Conference and Exposition. All seminars are taught by top home care professionals who focus on current issues, problems and solutions in the industry today. IHCC also offers members free quarterly regional meetings, allowing members to network with other providers in your area and hear about the latest trends in home care regulations, wound care and more. IHCC also maintains relationships with regulatory bodies such as the Medicare Fiscal Intermediary (Palmetto GBA), the Illinois Department of Public Health, the Illinois Department on Aging, and the Illinois Department of Public Aid. IHCC also lobbies state and federal legislative issues that impact home care providers in Illinois. The IHCC Annual Conference and Exposition brings together the largest gathering of home care providers in the state each spring for education, exhibits and networking. The bi-weekly newsletter, the Communicator X-Press, contains legislative, regulatory and reimbursement alerts, and other home care related information to members in a timely manner. The IHCC website offers member only sections of the site, including regulatory and legislative information, access to the online member directory, a listing in the consumer directory and the latest information. Members also have access to the IHCC Listserv, allowing members to communicate industry information, network and receive quick answers from other industry professionals. All IHCC members also have the opportunity to participate in the association by serving on committees, speaking at regional meetings and other educational events, joining IHCC's lobbyists in Springfield for the annual Legislative Summit, and more.
